H20 Extra Beam

The H20 Extra Beam is a laminated timber beam designed for use in concrete formwork applications. They are similar to standard H20 beams but are often manufactured with additional specifications to meet specific requirements.

  • These beams are appreciated for their strength, lightness and ability to support significant loads. They are often used in the construction of” formwork for slabs, walls, and other concrete elements. requiring enhanced performance.
  • They generally offer great flexibility and can be used in various types of construction projects, ensuring high performance for the creation of strong and durable concrete structures.

The H20 Extra Beams may feature improved technical characteristics, such as increased strength, superior durability, or specific dimensions, making them suitable for projects where stricter requirements are needed.

  • Lengths: 2900, 3900 mm.
  • Made from carefully selected spruce or fir wood.
  • The flange and the web are joined by a finger joint and are glued in a crosswise manner (relative to the growth rings).
  • The flanges can be assembled in length. The flange is milled along its core.
  • The edges of the flange are planed and beveled (up to approximately 0.4 mm).

Gluing: Melamine resin-based glue, adhesive type I according to EN 301 approved for bonding load-bearing wooden elements.
Surface protection: The surface is fully protected by a waterproof and water-repellent coating.
